The story of Rising Bliss takes place in modern-day Japan and follows a young man in his final year at Kaori Academy as disturbing events begin to unravel. The Japanese government, faced with declining birth rates, are completely unable to support important social programs for the elderly, pay for their military budget, or any other important social service due to this ongoing crisis. In response, Prime Minister Tachi develops a powerful aphrodisiac and begins releasing it into the water supply. Overcome with lust, the general population begins to lower their barriers to sex and quickly loosen their morals. As the citizens are distracted with mindless mating, the Minister moves to consolidate his power with the ultimate goal of ruling a sex empire for life. However, things don’t go to plan when the infected begin overrunning the metropolitan capital of Tokyo. It turns out the tainted water supply was the perfect breeding ground for a new disease to form… The BLISS VIRUS! Lust zombies are everywhere and the player must do everything in his power to escape the city with his classmates.

Who is the target audience?
Anyone who likes dark, story-rich adult visual novels. However, there are a number of themes you should be aware of: NTR, group sex, sharing, orgies, and bondage will all appear in the story at some point. If you are looking for a relaxing harem game to play, this isn’t it! The story will follow a much darker theme on average. Not only will various love interests have adult interactions with other male NPCs, they could also be lost forever to the Bliss Virus. With that being said, I’d like as many people as possible to try the game. Many months of hard work and late nights went into the creation of this game.
How long is the story?
Currently, the game is in early access and I’m working hard to bring more content with each new chapter. Below is a list of completed works:
Chapter 1 is complete and takes around 30 minutes to play through.
Chapter 2 is complete and takes around 45 minutes to play through.
Chapter 3 is complete and takes around 1-hour to play through.
Chapter 4 is in development and will arrive early on SubscribeStar.
Are there other modes of gameplay?
Yes! Studio Mode is an alternate form of gameplay that allows the player to have adult interactions with story-mode characters in different rooms. Additional rooms and adult animations are planned and will arrive early on SubscribeStar.
